One Bread One Body: pdf A teaching document on the Mass by the Catholic Bishops of England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, published in 1998. All First Communion Catechists should read this, particularly articles 1-75.

" helping parents to help their children to prepare for the sacraments" This is a DVD-based resource produced by Catholic Evangelisation Services (responsible for the CaFE programme), and is used by some parishes in East Anglia.
It is advertised as "an enjoyable modern media course designed to inform, inspire and stir discussion amongst parents."
It is easy to use and includes flexible material on video/DVD for two to four sessions and includes a comprehensive Leader's Guide and sample Parents Booklets.
As the video course costs £89.95, it would be wise to view it beforehand, perhaps borrowing it from a neighbouring parish.
