Being a Catholic. A brief introduction to the Catholic Faith
by Bishop Michael Evans
FOR A START
(This text was originally published in pamphlet form in1992 by the Catholic Truth Society, and is presented here with the permission of the CTS) These pages aim to give a very brief summary of the Catholic faith. What does the Catholic Church hold in common with the vast majority of Christians, and what is distinctive about our Catholic beliefs? This can be only a scanty glimpse of what is involved, and from but one of many possible angles, but we hope it will at least serve as a beginning, motivating you to read further and explore more deeply.
