Diocesan 'Learning Together' Programme - Spring 2010

All teaching days are on Saturdays, with registration and coffee from 10.30, the session starting at 11.00, and finishing at 3.00.

Please bring your own packed lunch; tea & coffee will be provided. Perhaps bring a cushion as well!

Oscar Romero - Prophet and Martyr

Bishop Michael leads a day as part of East Anglia's 'Romero Week', celebrating the 30th anniversary of the martyrdom of Archbishop Oscar Romero in El Salvador. Romero was a prophet of justice.

Archbishop Oscar Romero - prophet and martyr

24th March 2010 is the 30th anniversary of the assassination during Mass of Archbishop Oscar Romero in El Salvador.

As part of 'Romero Week' in East Anglia, Bishop Michael will lead a day exploring the life, teaching and witness of Archbishop Romero, as an example of 'sacrificial love' and 'sacrificial priesthood'.
