The Diocesan Youth Commission consists of a clergy member and a lay member from each deanery. The Commission has a threefold role:
(1) To advise the Director of Youth Service on the whole range of work for which he is responsible.
(2) To facilitate participation throughout each deanery in diocesan youth events
(3) To coordinate and help to facilitate youth work at deanery and inter-parish level encouraging parish youth groups, organising occasional Deanery Youth Masses and gathering youth leaders when appropriate for sharing of ideas and training. |
